regabalin 300mg capsules are a prescription medication used to treat neuropathic pain, epilepsy, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and fibromyalgia.  Each capsule contains 300 mg of pregabalin, an anticonvulsant that works by reducing abnormal electrical activity in the brain and blocking pain signals from damaged nerves.

Uses
  • Neuropathic pain: Due to diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia (shingles), spinal cord injury, or other nerve-related conditions.

  • Epilepsy: As adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization.

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): For the treatment of anxiety in adults.

  • Fibromyalgia: To relieve widespread muscle pain and stiffness.

Dosage and Administration
  • Recommended dose: 150 mg to 600 mg per day, divided into two or three doses.

  • Starting dose: Typically 150 mg/day (e.g., 75 mg twice daily), increased to 300 mg/day after 1–2 weeks based on response and tolerability.

  • Maximum recommended dose: 600 mg/day, though 450 mg/day is often sufficient for fibromyalgia with fewer side effects.

Mefenamic acid 500 mg tablets are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain and primary dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) in patients aged 14 years and older. It belongs to the fenamate class of NSAIDs and works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, reducing the production of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation.

he recommended dosage is 500 mg as an initial dose, followed by 250 mg every 6 hours as needed, not exceeding one week of use.  For dysmenorrhea, treatment typically begins with the onset of menstruation and symptoms, and should not extend beyond 2–3 days. Due to the risk of serious side effects, it is advised to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
