Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 2.5 mg of minoxidil. 

Formulation: Round, white to off-white tablets, approximately 5.5 mm in diameter, with a score line and "2.5" debossed on one side. 

Mechanism of Action: Minoxidil is a potassium channel opener, which leads to vasodilation and reduced vascular resistance. 

Indications:

• Severe hypertension (used in conjunction with a diuretic and beta-blocker).

• Off-label use for hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in low doses (e.g., 2.5 mg daily), though this is not the primary FDA-approved use.
