Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 10000 IU Injection is a medication containing human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone naturally produced during pregnancy.  It is used primarily in fertility treatments and hormonal disorders. 

Key Uses

• In women: Induces ovulation in infertile women with ovulation disorders, especially when used after pretreatment with other fertility drugs like menotropins. It mimics the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge to trigger egg release. 

• In men: Treats hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (low testosterone due to pituitary deficiency), delayed puberty, and low sperm count (oligospermia) by stimulating testosterone production and sperm development. 

• In prepubertal boys: Helps in the descent of undescended testes (cryptorchidism) due to hormone deficiency, typically in children aged 4–9 years. 

Mechanism of Action

HCG acts like luteinizing hormone (LH), stimulating the testes to produce androgens (e.g., testosterone) in men and the corpus luteum to produce progesterone in women. It supports early pregnancy by maintaining the corpus luteum until the placenta takes over hormone production. 

Administration & Dosage

• Route: Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection only. 

• Reconstitution: Must be mixed with provided bacteriostatic water before use. 

• Timing: Must be used within 60 days of reconstitution and refrigerated after mixing.

• Dosage varies by condition:

  • For male hypogonadism: 500–1,000 IU three times weekly.

  • For ovulation induction: 5,000–10,000 IU one day after final menotropin dose.

Important Warnings

• Not effective for weight loss—no evidence supports its use for obesity or fat reduction. 

• High risk of multiple pregnancies (twins or more) and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). 

• Contraindicated in pregnancy, precocious puberty, and androgen-dependent cancers.

• Unsafe during breastfeeding—may harm the infant. 

• Avoid alcohol and inform your doctor of any heart, kidney, or thyroid conditions. 

Testosterone Cypionate 250mg is a long-acting injectable ester of testosterone used primarily for androgen replacement therapy in men with hypogonadism (low testosterone levels).  It is available as a 250 mg/mL solution in multi-dose vials, typically administered via intramuscular injection. 

• Primary Use: Treatment of male hypogonadism to restore normal testosterone levels, improving symptoms such as low libido, fatigue, depression, and reduced muscle mass. 

• Dosage & Administration: Common dosing ranges from 250–1000 mg every week, depending on the individual’s experience level and cycle goals.  It is often used in bulking or lean gain cycles when stacked with other anabolic steroids like Boldenone or Deca Durabolin. For medical use, it is typically injected every 10–21 days, though more frequent dosing (e.g., weekly) may be used to avoid peak and trough fluctuations.

• Pharmacokinetics: Has a half-life of approximately 7–8 days, allowing for less frequent injections.  It is metabolized in the liver and excreted mainly in urine.

• Formulation: Usually supplied in oil-based solutions (e.g., cottonseed oil) with preservatives like benzyl alcohol and benzyl benzoate. Some brands include methylcobalamine to enhance absorption by up to 25%, which may cause a red or brownish tint in the solution. 

• Side Effects: Include androgenic effects (acne, oily skin, hair loss, increased body hair) and estrogenic effects (gynecomastia, fluid retention).  Other risks include cardiovascular issues (heart attack, stroke), liver strain, low sperm count, prostate enlargement, high blood pressure, and mood changes. 

• Contraindications: Not for use in women, children under 18, or individuals with prostate or breast cancer, severe heart or liver disease, or high calcium levels. 

• Legal Status: Classified as a Schedule III controlled substance in the U.S. and Canada, indicating potential for abuse and dependence.

• Dosage and Administration: Typically administered via intramuscular injection into the gluteal muscle, with dosages varying based on individual needs. Common regimens involve 25–50 mg two to three times per week due to its short half-life (~20 hours).

• Available Forms: Supplied as 1 mL ampoules, 10 mL vials, or 1 mL pre-filled syringes (PFS), with a standard strength of 100 mg/mL. 

• Contraindications: Not recommended for individuals with prostate or breast cancer, hypersensitivity to testosterone, pregnancy, or liver/kidney disease. 

• Common Side Effects: Include injection site pain, erythema, swelling, acne, oily skin, hair loss, gynecomastia, mood swings, and changes in libido or lipid profiles. 

• Storage: Should be stored at controlled room temperature, protected from light and moisture; unused portions must be discarded as biohazard waste.
