Conjugated Estrogens Tablets USP are a mixture of estrogen sulfates derived from pregnant mares' urine, formulated as sodium salts to represent the average composition of natural estrogen sources.  The active ingredient, conjugated estrogens (CE), includes sodium estrone sulfate and sodium equilin sulfate, along with concomitant components such as 17α-dihydroequilin, 17α-estradiol, and 17β-dihydroequilin. 

These tablets are available in 0.3 mg, 0.45 mg, 0.625 mg, 0.9 mg, and 1.25 mg strengths for oral administration.  They are used primarily for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in menopausal women to alleviate symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings, and to help prevent osteoporosis.
