Jardiance (empagliflozin) 25mg tablets are used to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes, often used when 10mg is tolerated but higher sugar-lowering effect is required. It lowers blood sugar by causing the kidneys to remove excess glucose through urine. It also reduces risks of cardiovascular death, hospitalization for heart failure, and supports kidney function. 

INDICATIONS AND USAGE MOUNJARO™ is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Limitations of Use • MOUNJARO has not been studied in patients with a history of pancreatitis [see Warnings and Precautions (5.2)].

Glimda-MV 2 Tablet is a triple-combination oral antidiabetic medication used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled by diet, exercise, or single or dual antidiabetic therapy.  It combines three active ingredients:

• Glimepiride (2 mg): A sulfonylurea that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, helping lower blood glucose levels. 

• Metformin (500 mg): A biguanide that reduces glucose production in the liver, improves insulin sensitivity, and delays glucose absorption from the intestines. 

• Voglibose (0.2 mg): An alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that slows the breakdown of complex carbohydrates into glucose in the gut, reducing post-meal blood sugar spikes. 

This synergistic combination provides comprehensive glycemic control by targeting multiple pathways involved in glucose metabolism.

Istamet 50 mg/500 mg tablets (Sitagliptin 50mg + Metformin 500mg) are used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus, especially when diet, exercise, and other medications fail to control blood sugar levels. It works by decreasing glucose production in the liver, slowing absorption from the intestines, and increasing insulin production after meals.
