eroflo 250 Inhaler is a combination medication used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).  It contains two active ingredients: fluticasone propionate (250 mcg), a corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, and salmeterol (25 mcg), a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to improve breathing. 

It is prescribed as a controller medication to prevent symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, coughing, and breathlessness during exercise.  The inhaler helps keep airways open and reduces the frequency of asthma attacks, but it is not intended for sudden asthma attacks—a quick-relief inhaler should be used for acute symptoms. 

The inhaler should be used regularly as directed by a doctor, even when symptoms are absent, to maintain control. Benefits may take a few weeks to become fully apparent. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age, and special caution is advised for individuals with liver or kidney issues, heart conditions, or a history of infections like candidiasis. 

Common side effects include headache, throat irritation, hoarseness, muscle cramps, nausea, and upper respiratory infections.  To reduce the risk of oral thrush, patients should rinse their mouth with water after each use. The inhaler should be stored at room temperature, away from heat and light, and kept out of reach of children.
