Aripiprazole 5mg tablets are oral antipsychotic medications used to treat conditions such as schizophrenia, manic episodes in Bipolar I Disorder, and irritability associated with autistic disorder. They work by modulating dopamine and serotonin receptors in the brain to restore chemical balance, improving symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, mood swings, and social withdrawal.
Appearance: Typically white to off-white round tablets, debossed with "5" on one side and "17" on the other (based on the DailyMed reference). Some formulations may be blue-colored, modified rectangular-shaped tablets debossed with "62" and "H".
Active Ingredient: Aripiprazole 5 mg per tablet.
